Tango teaching
At the moment I do not hold regular group classes in Vienna due to a lack of time and a suitable location. However feel free to contact me if you are interested in private lessons or if you want to organize a class or workshop. I will be happy to share a brief summary of my ideas of teaching tango as well as topics I especially like to work on.
During my many trips to Buenos Aires and the countless workshops I attended worldwide - ranging from the most traditional milonguero style in Buenos Aires to open-embrace nuevo dancing - I have come across a huge variety of explanations and techniques. I do not think that there is only one single truth in tango techniques. This is why I try to highlight differences in explanations and techniques of dancing tango.
The main idea is to support dancers in finding their own unique way of expressing and dancing tango appreciating the details in tango music and respecting the overall dance experience of all dancers.

Thank you so much for the Chacarera lesson. It was brilliant- I've always wanted to learn because it looks like a lot of fun but have been a bit nervous.
